Oath by vai5000 is the companion game to vai5000’s 2024 EP, Oath. It features a fully integrated EP player allowing you to enjoy the entire EP at any time during gameplay. In addition to the music, Oath offers a short story mode with acts that correspond to each song on the project. Each act is presents an interactive story segment complete with new music and visuals Hit of Chernobyl.
The game is boasts several exciting features including a full playable story mode with six acts presented as a short interactive visual novel and top down RPG. The built in music player lets you access the entire EP from the main menu enhancing you are gaming experience. There’s also an art gallery that showcases all the EP artwork, unlocking as you complete each act in the story. Additionally, players can explore a massive multi part epilogue filled with quests and hidden secrets.
As a bonus, the game includes special appearances that can be accessed with passcodes at certain points in the game. You can explore over 50 unique rooms featuring various scene artists, each room offering a select few songs from their discography. Although finding all the rooms is not necessary to complete the game, doing so rewards you with an achievement.
