AMEDAMA Overview
In Soul-Shifting Showdowns, you embark on a quest to find your sister, but without a physical body, you must possess others to continue your journey. This ability to control whoever or whatever you inhabit gives you access to different weapons and combat styles allowing you to face new enemies and characters as you shift between bodies Wild Bastards.
Set against the backdrop of mid-19th century Japan, AMEDAMA combines human drama with a world of beauty and darkness. In this rain-soaked, pixelated world, you’ll relive the same seven-day period repeatedly, with your choices shaping the unfolding story. Who you speak to and how you intervene will alter the outcomes, leaving your fate in your hands . Mastering the Usetsu Tensei sword style, Yushin wields the ‘Misty Riposte,’ a technique that deals powerful counterattacks after blocking enemy strikes.
The story takes place in Aihama Japan are during the final years of the Edo period. One stormy night, Yushin is killed while defending his sister, Yui, leaving him as a wandering soul. As he watches over his own dead body, Yushin realizes his mission isn’t over AMEDAMA. A dark plot lurks beneath the peaceful town, and with just seven days left before his soul fades, Yushin must possess others, uncover the mystery, and save his sister.
Will he be able to rescue Yui before time runs out? This is a tale of rain, reincarnation, and revenge, brought to life by Izanagi Games, with planning by ACQUIRE, character design by lack (Fate/Grand Order, Touken Ranbu), and a soundtrack by Yuko Komiyama (Monster Hunter series).
