CORPUS EDAX Overview
CORPUS EDAX is a first-person melee RPG set in a retro-futuristic city on the verge of revolution, on a planet hiding its own secrets. You will use your body makeshift weapons and creativity to navigate this dangerous world. The game features a unique skill system A.G.N.I.S. (Allure, Grit, Nerd, Intuition, Strength), allowing you to interact with the environment in creative ways. For example, you can place objects to reach new areas or handle locked doors by hacking, picking locks, breaking them down, or convincing someone to help UBOAT.
The game’s dialogue system relies on your character’s stats offering branching dialogues based on your choices. You can engage deeply with conversations or skip them entirely shaping how you experience the story. The characters react realistically to physical interactions whether you are throwing or swinging objects. Your personal reputation is reflected in three traits—Insightful, Impetuous, and Altruistic—unlocking new dialogue options and affecting how others respond to you.
Set on a distant planet that humanity settled after leaving Earth due to environmental catastrophe, CORPUS EDAX follows your character as they wake from a medically-induced coma in a rigid, government-controlled society. Citizens are graded based on their value to the state, and cultural identities have been erased. As you navigate this new world you will find yourself involved in a struggle for justice or perhaps your own agenda helping shape the future of Corpus Edax, whether for the better or not.

- After 5 seconds, press the “Download Now” button to start downloading the game file.
- Once the download is complete, extract the “.zip” file into the CORPUS EDAX directory.
- Open the folder and double-click the “.exe” file to launch the game.
- Enjoy your gaming experience! For the best performance, run the game as an administrator. If you encounter any issues, check the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all necessary components.
