Lorns Lure Overview
Lorn’s Lure is an immersive first person platformer that is combines a dark atmospheric narrative with unique mechanics that allow you to climb almost any surface. Featuring a blend of modernized retro 3D graphics the game follows an android who after are leaving his home colony to investigate a strange glitch, stumbles upon a vast and dangerous structure unknown to his people. With no way to return the android must press forward uncovering the reasons behind his journey and why he left in the first place and Water Delivery.
The game creates a tense are foreboding atmosphere reminiscent of 90s PC graphics but with a modern twist. As you explore the depths of this mysterious world you will encounter challenging obstacles that require jumping climbing sliding and scanning your surroundings. Unlike traditional platformers Lorn’s Lure allows you to climb almost any vertical surface using pickaxes adding a unique twist to traversal. While the game is tough, it avoids being frustrating, as mistakes don’t force you to redo long sections. You can either play at a relaxed pace to take in the world’s details or challenge yourself by moving quickly like a speedrunner.
